The 2023 wedding season has officially begun and I cannot wait to share some of my favorite trends for this year!

Film Photography

Film is a unique and beautiful way to capture memories. The colors, tones, and textures of analog photography can’t be replicated digitally. Many wedding photographers are now offering film as an add-on to their packages too so be sure to ask them if they offer it before booking!

Unique Floral Arrangements

More and more couples are choosing to use a variety of colors and flowers in their floral arrangements. Gone are the days of traditional bouquets. This year you can expect to see bright hues, less greenery, and a lot more creativity when it comes to size and layout.

Pearl Details

Pearls are back and not just when it comes to bridal jewelry. You can expect to see a variety of pearl accessories including hairpieces, headbands, and even veils with pearl details. Pearls add a level of elegance to the day without having to spend a ton.

Dress Changes for the Reception

This trend began in 2022 and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon! Many brides are choosing to change out of their wedding dress and into a short dress or jumpsuit for their reception. This is a fun way to get the attention of your guests during your reception entrance and also dance the night away without worrying about a bustle or a long train.
