Nicolette!
I am so glad you are here! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.
I am originally from New York but moved down south for school in 2015 and have been here ever since. God did significant work in my heart in the Summer of 2017, and I began cultivating a real sense of belonging in North Carolina. In 2018 I met my now-husband, Daniel, at a college bible study group. We spent the next year and a half on a sweet journey to husband and wife.
Why I Love Weddings
I am highly relational & empathetic, which means I tear up during every rom-com, and I will most likely cry during your wedding ceremony too!
My favorite part of a wedding day is the moments after the recessional ends, and the bride and groom have exited the ceremony. It isn't quite time for them to take pictures or greet guests, and I find them just looking at each other in absolute awe. They did it! They are now husband and wife, and for a few moments, they can soak in all the goodness of that little moment. QUE, THE WATER WORKS! I'm tearing up just thinking about it!!
As a former bride who went from planning a 200-person wedding to eloping during a worldwide pandemic, I know a thing or two about adjusting wedding plans and expectations. I've grown to appreciate the beauty of a simple wedding day that focuses on the union of two individuals before God. Coming alongside couples on their journey to marriage is an absolute joy, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to do so.
