Deciding on wedding flowers for your big day can be a daunting cost, especially when the floral quote comes back way over budget! If you’re struggling to find ways to stay within your floral budget and cannot fathom using artificial stems, this one’s for you!

Below are just a few tips and tricks I’ve seen to help keep your floral costs low without sacrificing looks on a wedding day.

  1. Choose in-season flowers: Flowers that are in season are generally more affordable than those that are out of season. They are also more readily available, so you should be able to find more options within your budget.
  2. Opt for larger blooms: Larger blooms take up more space and require fewer stems to create a full look, which can help you save money on the overall cost of your arrangements.
  3. Repurpose ceremony flowers: If you plan to have flowers at both your ceremony and reception, consider repurposing the ceremony flowers for the reception. For example, altar arrangements can be moved to the head table, and aisle arrangements can be used to decorate the cake table. This will save you money on additional arrangements and help you get more bang for your buck.

These are just a few of the many ways to cut costs when it comes to your wedding florals. Lastly, don’t be afraid to talk honestly with your florist ahead of time so they know what your actual budget is. They are knowledgeable professionals in the field and can help tremendously when it comes to knowing what is in or out of season and how to incorporate reusable arrangements to make the most of your money.

At Grace-Filled Gathering Co. our goal is to help simplify the wedding planning process so you can focus on what matters most. Don’t let florals overwhelm you in the planning process.

Rooting for you, friend!
